My name is Patrick Orth. I live in Ridgefield Park New Jersey with my parents and 3 siblings. I came to Saint Peter's Prep 2 and a half years ago now, knowing only one person in the building. Everything was strange, but I settled in, made new friends, and have been introduced to a world of opportunities because of Saint Peter's. One thing prep did for me was show me the game I now love, rugby. Another great experience I had at prep was attending a trip to the Grand Canyon and surrounding areas last summer. The Global Opportunity Scholarship is also significant to me because I had to get a job in order to attend the trip. Paying for a trip like this is not always realistic for some students and families and I am honored to be apart of a team that is seeking to change this.
